Design

The property lies on a beautiful shoreline, its pristine white sands meeting the gentle lapping waves of a crystal-clear sea. Against this natural backdrop, sleek architectural forms rise in stark contrast—deconstructed volumes of glass, concrete, and steel, strategically placed to engage with the landscape.

A cluster of volumes, cladded with contrasting materials, appears to scuttle across the beach. Some structures rest on slender, stilt-like supports, some are wrapped in glass slightly tinted in green, and some float on shadows blending into the tropical surroundings.

The landscape invites a layered architectural experience—one that unfolds gradually, revealing new perspectives with every step. Modern forms rise from the sand each framing the sea in a different way. The interplay of volumes, levels and textures, creates a sequence of outdoor spaces that shift and evolve with the movement of the observer.
A sunken lounge, nestled in one of the broad terraces, offers an intimate retreat. On the side a secondary outdoor lounge, carves into the
volumes a shaded terrace where the gentle sea breeze provides natural cooling. A balcony on the upper floor hovers over the shoreline and creates a scenic yet intimate retreat adjacent to the master bedroom. The cantilevering jacuzzi invites one to plunge into the restless waters as if of the ocean itself and reemerge atop of the warm embracing bubbles.

Architecture

Every outdoor space is designed to reframe the beach and sea from a fresh angle—sometimes enclosing the view, sometimes expanding
it. This interplay between architecture and nature ensures that every point of view offers a new way to experience the building within the tropical scenery.

Concept

Here, in this fusion of nature and design, the beach becomes a sanctuary for “crustacean architecture”—anchored in the sand, at the
same time on the verge of movement, like a crab poised at the water’s edge.
